catching live bait out of Pcola pass help
I've mostly only bottom fished out of Destin and I'm trying to avoid Billy Bowlegs crowd this weekend. Any quick tips on where to find bait in the Pcola pass in regards to sabikiing?? Thanks.

Where ever the tide line is. If not, just look for the bait pods near the bouys

Bouys... just approach and circle. If the water is clear you'll see them, if not watch your bottom machine. Don't waste time if you cannot sight them or see them on your fishfinder.
Also a sabiki works over bottom structure offshore. You can catch cigar minnows on the wrecks. But you lose a lot of hooks to bigger fish.
Always buy rope with cash...
