Im about to re-spool all my bottom reels and was wondering what would be the best braid to use for the $$.

Tuf-Line XP by far the best bang for your buck.

I was looking at the Tuffline on the Bass Pro site but the heaviest test shown was 30lb.

Google it, they make it way over 100#. I was buying it from Rons Tackle but he is in real bad shape battling throat cancer so I don't know how to get thru to him right now. He is by far the cheapest on it though. I switched over 2 years ago and have not had any problems with mystery/phantom breaks in the braid.

It doesn't matter to me. I use them all and sometime you will find a certain color on sale for cheap and that is what I buy if needed at the time. I am currently waithing on their indicator braid to spool my Saragoosa 18000 with for jigging. It is the multicolored line that changes color so you can know the depth of your drop by colors if you find suspended fish.

Lobsterman is right, toughline is good stuff. I got mine from this site:

<a href="http://www.alltackle.com/braided_fishing_line.htm">http://www.alltackle.com/braided_fishing_line.htm</a>

I was thinking about the Jerry brown hollow core for next time, but cant recommend it since i've never used it.
