Default Boat Slip in Destin?

We are staying at fort benning for a week in june. They have a small launch, but no slips and very little parking. Is there any slips to be rented close to the harbor or in the bay right there close to benning? Thanks

I assume you mean Destin Army Recreation Area at 557 Calhoun Ave.
I know that Harbor Docks Restaurant 538 Harbor Blvd, Destin, Phone: (850) 837-2506
once had transient slips for rent.

News to me. Never heard of that and have lived here my entire life. Good luck with your search.

I would call Destin Marina and D&J Dry storage and between the 2 of them you can store your boat right next door to where you launch from. Not optimal but a buttload better than having to get on 98 through Destin.

Destin Marina is (850) 837-2470
D&J Dry Storage is (850) 837-5055

Default Bluewater Bay

I'm not sure where your base is, but check out Bluewater Bay Marina and High and Dry in Niceville. The Hinely family that owns it are very accommodating. It's 8.5 miles NNE of Destin's North Channel.
