Default Bait in Destin pass / Choctawhatchee

Housing in Pensacola fell through and will be staying in Destin this week instead. Haven't fished there before. Sounds like people catch bait just outside the pass? I have two boys (10 and 12) and sabiki rigs are still a favorite for them. Is there a shallow wreck for bait similar to the Mass? We will run offshore (weather permitting) and also mess around in back bay.

Thanks!!

Last week there were threadfin schools from Crab Island out till the mouth of the pass.

You'll get waked in the pass when you're out of the "No Wake Zone". Mouth of the pass is about 300 yds wide.
