Default bait

Is there bait ar the pass or the Mass. 6 weeks ago there were Theardfins all over the Mass. They were great bait for some big Snapper. Taking freinds out tomorrow and would love to have good bait again. The bait boat is on 16 right? Just in case we cannot find bait.

Had a thread about this right before snapper season to share ideas. Posted it in both sides of the offshore section to get mixed opinions.

Yesterday I caught threadfins in the bay near the tide line. The schools were moving around a lot and did not bite that well at first but got going better and we caught what we needed. Today there was no bait on or near the tide line when we steamed by so I kept going to the mass. We caught some threadfins and some ly's but the moonpie's out numbered the good baits 10 to 1 so it took a while to come up with some.
