Default Anyone really believe. ...???

That there were 8 million pounds of snapper caught in the last 28 days...???. I mean really..How many days did the rec fleet fish out of that time..?? The outrage is waning. ....We need to step it up a notch.....the screwing keeps getting worse..

I caught ATLEAST a million pounds of 17" snapper this year!

The entire GOM. If they averaged 4 lbs each that's 2 million fish. Out of 28 days....Probably only 18 were fishable.

But all the fish caught were 20lb, didnt you read the reports.

Lets do some conservative figuring:
8,000,000 pounds/9 pounds per fish = 888,889 fish
888,889 fish / 28 days = 31,746 fish every day

That seems awfully high considering there were not 28 fishable days and all days are obviously not equal.
