Default Amberjack fishing

Through out snapper season, amberjack were a common occurrence. Not being targetted it seems like they are quite easy to come across. But just how everything usually works, are they as easy to find when you are actually targetting them. I have friends coming down from chicago and i want them to expierence a back breaking fight. Vertical jigging and dropping live baits have usually resulted in AJs while snapper fishing. Where shoulld i should i go? which wrecks? and do you i need a downrigger to troll for them? any help is much appreicated

They are very plentiful, fish wrecks with high releif and you shouldn't have a problem.
