Default AJ bite gone cold

This is my first year catching AJs. Up until about two weeks ago, I was killing them on jigs. Now they don't seem interested (for the most part, i've caught a few small ones). I have noticed them on the surface, and had a great time catching them with a surface lure. Is this a normal seasonal pattern?

They move around as the water temps change. Try deeper structure, natural bottom and live bait.

They're around, that's for sure. You just have to match the hatch and find what they're eating and show them something similar.

Drop down a live hard tail to them. That should do the trick.

Maybe try a different color jig. If they are there I hardly ever see them turn down a butterfly jig.
