Default Yamaha Genny's

Does anybody run the yamaha inverter gennys? I am about to purchase a new genny and was looking at the honda 2000, but would like to be able to pull a few more amps(not boat related), when I am not floundering. Yamaha makes a 2400w 17amp version that seems perfect, and its not near as big as the honda 3000. I also like the gas shut off that the yamaha has. Any input on these?

yes.....If I was picking a new one.... That would be it.

I wish honda would fill that gap.

No one I personally has one...I've seen the vids and heard them...Bunch of guys on Bowfish site have them.

I don't see any reason for me to upgrade from my 2000 Honda right now.
