Default Where are they laying...

I moved here about a year ago, (military transplant) and built a gig boat. The only issue i have now is trying to find the fish! I live out on Garcon Point, but have had very little luck finding the fish thus far. I'm going to head out sunday evening, and would like to do some afternoon red/spec fishing then roll into some gigging. Does anyone have any advise on where to go in the area? Thx in advance!

This time of year, the fish will be leaving the rivers and heading towards the gulf. It's still early enough you'll be able to find a few stragglers. Tide plays a huge roll in this, outgoing tide, you'll see more fish...
