Default Second Trip of 2015

Decided to head out to Santa Rosa Sound right after dark on Friday night. Wind was not too bad and the water is very clear. Tide was going out so I figured the fish would be away from the beach. Started at 9pm and finished up right at midnight. Was blessed to be able to stab 5 decent fish, four of which were 10-20 yds from the beach and the biggest one was laying in about 1 inch of water on the beach, go figure. Just happened to see a hump on the beach and went to investigate. Enjoyed a beautiful night by myself exploring God's gift to us.

Never been floundering before! Bet it's a lot of fun!!! Looks like you ended up with a nice hau! We ended up opting out of snapper fishing on Saturday but my crew came back with their limit and we enjoyed an amazing blackened snapper pasta hollandaise sauce veggie dish for lunch the next day. (Not sure what it's called)

How do you like to cook your flounder?
