Default Saturday night looking

Put in at Joe's Bayou in Destin last night at 5:30. Saw and stuck one 20" fish at about 7:00. I did a lot of looking without much seeing. Where are they? Do we need to self impose a closed season to encourage a rebound? Seems like each passing year the numbers keep getting worse.

Did see a lot of bait, glass minnows, pinfish, lizard fish and small shrimp. Also, had a thirty inch redfish swim with me for about fifty feet. Just wish there were more flounder.

I flounder fished everywhere in the harbor on Sunday morning, from the bridge all the way back to the pump station in the harbor. Caught one about 10 inches in 4 hours.... its been hit or miss big time this year.
