Default Late Report

Went Thur. morning after the rain and managed 10. Put thr boat in at 3am and gigged till 6am. Lots of 12 and under fish and plenty of fresh empty beds. Hit it again this morning at 3 and gigged till daylight and managed 14 and had 4 run from me when it was getting a little light. Yes I have a commercial license. Mullet everywhere and schooling, roe mullet soon. Fish quality better this morning with largest at 19 and averaging 16 to 18.

YES these are bama fish and they are leaving the rivers and headed South. Alot of movement this week and more beds then I've seen this year. Mouth of Weeks bay seems to be staging if this rain doesn't muddy the water.

Good news! I'm just happy to see this level of movement this early in the season...hopefully its going to be a good year for the flat fish...got tired of getting skunked every other trip last year and only a handful on the "successful" outings...but I did my homework this year, pretty sure I'm ready for em...happy hunting!
