Default HPS lights

No this isn't another thread about which ones to get. This is about painting the reflectors. I know from experience that the flat white does wonders for the halos. What I'd like to know is, does the white paint help with the extreme yellow of the HPS? Could you paint the reflector a different color to kinda dim the yellow and brighten the white of the light? Any color spectrum gurus on here have any ideas?

Wirelessly posted (Air Force 1)

I painted 3 on one side and left the other side unpainted. There was such a huge difference that I couldn't wait to get home and paint the other 3. Do it!

Jared, the paint works great on the hps lights to. The color us what helps penetrate murky water so I wouldn't try and change it.
