Default Fall 2014 outlook

I experienced very low numbers but very large average size during the push out of the bays last November. I wade gig only and gig in the Gulf in the summertime. As a result, I have no gauge of the numbers of fish in the bays in the summer. You guys that gig the bays have any predictions on what we might see this November?

Fish quality for me has been better than last year. Numbers have been about the same, although the last two trips have been great. From what I'm seeing North we should have a good fall run. A few folks are posting some incredible nights for this time of year and more folks are keeping it pretty quiet.

The last month or so has been very poor for me, was limiting regularly now only seeing 3-5 giggable fish, but hundreds of 2"-8" fish.

Fish quality and numbers in the Gulf was way over average a month ago but has been poor for me lately. Still doing well but much smaller fish and very widely scattered over big areas. Having to walk too much to put a stringer together.
