Calm Before The Storm
Well just couldn't stand it and there was not a breath of wind at the house. Loaded the boat and really wanted to hit the gulf. It's just plain unreal that there can be no wind inland and when you get to the water it is gail force. Well I'm here, so launched any way and there was no way you could navaigate the pass with my rig. The beach was white capping and totally not fishable. Oh well maybe later in the week. Hit a couple of protected coves and managed 8. Had 3 right at 20 and one a little over21. Water clarity was good, but you just couldn't get away from the wind. The later it got the worse it kicked up.Looked for a couple of hours and called it a night. All fish were right on the beach and the largest was no more than a foot from dry land. Will post pics in a little while, before they hit the knife.
