Default Best time

I use to go gigging all the time but the past few years I have been away at school and just move back to the area. What time of the year do yall think is the best for gigging. Thanks

IMO,
Whenever there is no wind, good weather and clear water... There are flounder available year-round somewhere in our area. Just go gigging, scout around, read old posts here and try different areas and you will figure out where they are and when.

There are fish out there now farther up in the bay than youd expect, the big hogs will be moving back in over the next couple weeks or month. No reason you cant start now and gig until Christmas! I also wouldnt shy away from gigging gulf side when the wind is right.
