Default Anyone going to DI tonight to gig flatties?

Just curious. Seriously debating on going...Would be wading. Curious where I should park and start walking...Would tonight be a good night in the opinion of you DI vets?

Wind is a blowing....tides are all screwed up....yeah, I'm going. If wading I would work the area in front of the Golf Course - Gulf side. If the wind is blowing too badly from the South try the Bay side...West end.
Good luck.

Are you wading or going in your boat? I'm by myself so far, so not sure if I'm going...

Well, first trip gigging for me. Waded around Sand Island. Saw 6 flounder total. 3 were too small, 2 I spooked before I could nail them and a MASSIVE ONE I stepped on and it felt like someone pulled the rug out from under me! lol A little windy and the ones I did see were in water that was over knee high deep making it tough to see them before you stepped on them. I think if I would've been in a boat up higher, I would've gotten a pretty good haul. Just seeing them though sure was fun even if it was with my crappy lantern!
