Default 2-11-15 East Coast gigging outcome.

Whelp, Water is clear, wind was light.. I counted 8 flounder all night the two that I stuck were probably around 16 inches.. the others around 13"....

Hit some oyster beds with deep holes near them, found about 8 sheep's all over 22 inches.. got a few smaller around 18-20inches, and a few black drum as well. Largest sheep right @ 24" 2 gallon freezer bags full, yummy!

Saw about 9,0000 red fish, ranging from 10inches to 3 feet..

TLDR: The flounder are not back in on the east coast yet either guys.

yep been shrimping and fishing alot, got to go gigging the other night because i had to have my fix. lots of fish here. not to many flounders of legal size , lots of small flounder shrimping 12 to 16 push over the side in 8 to 12 foot of water i am sure the Porpoises are getting there fill. the big ones will be here soon enough let the water warm up. clear water everywhere , nice time to gig...

Very clear, they need to hurry up and come around.. I would go back out for more sheeps but it's been blowing here on the east coast 15+ almost every night for weeks..

PS. Props to Jim Cosson's Titanium GIG, it handled the big sheep head like a champ. Would recommend to anyone looking for the real deal!

To be able to see in 8-12 ft of water....thats a pipe dream of mine! I can't see in 8-12" of water most of the time in the mudhole I work.
