It was terrible conditions for Pompano fishing. The wind was causing a sandstorm that was blowing everything over and the current was like a river. Despite the wind we managed two medium sized Pompano on Monday and caught a total of 6 Pompano on Tuesday. the largest being 3lbs 7oz. Both days produced a ladyfish and Tuesday produced two Bluefish. At the end of the Tuesday I got what I thought was either a shark or a bull red. Well after fighting for 15 minutes on 12lb test it turned out to be a Cow Nosed Ray. It broke off just as we were about to cut it loose.
