It's going to be a pretty bad weekend, but you can probably catch some whiting. Buy some 2 drop pompano leaders from a bait and tackle shop. Buy some fresh shrimp from a seafood market and hit most any public access spot on the beach. Look for deep water troughs to throw into. Also peel your shrimp before putting it on the hook. Good luck !

Yesterday looked good, 65 and sunny when i left the house in a long sleeve T and shorts. Got to the pier (Navarre) with the 15 mph winds and froze my tail off. 45 today, no thanks. Water was dirty and waves were rough, but i did still see some whiting and a couple of big blues come up early afternoon. Board said Reds as well, but i didn't see any. Like GK said, with that setup and Pcola or Navarre pier, you should catch a few, if you don't mind the weather.

Water was up to 61-62 Sunday afternoon, which is at the bottom of the Pompano range. Im sure there are a few still around. Try just east of Pensacola at any parking lot. Use fish bites. Use a rod up close for whiting and long rod for Pomps

I'm watching the weather for a couple of good days, but these cold fronts are keeping me at home.

Today (Monday) was the window of opportunity. This next arctic front is going to chill the water for several days. Itg may be worth trying Tuesday morning before the front passes.

Thanks. I missed it.
I'm 6 hours away, so I need 2 days. I'll keep watching.
