Default Reds at Alabama Point

Me and some fellas went to Alabama point on Sunday night. We were fishing with some live minnows that we caught in a cast net and some fresh dead shrimp. The bite was on. We caught ground mullet, white trout, gaftop catfish, hard head catfish, pin fish, mango snapper, and then about midnight, the reds started hitting. we landed 4 at about 10-15 lbs each. Sorry, i didn't take any pictures.

you will need a licence, but the good thing in alabama red regs are 16-26 inches you can keep three and one can be oversize.

The FL fishing regs really bite !!!!

AL, & LA's are much better. Not sure about MS.

Im pretty sure you can only keep TWO redfish in Alabama but one can be over OR under. Good job with the reds:clap. I hear reports of them getting pretty thick in the passes. I went out there to AL point this morning but live bait was hard to come by. Caught a couple. A guy fishing near me brought in a 36" red. lucky he wasn't in FL!!!

All of Perdido Pass (both Alabama and Florida point) are in Alabama by a bunch....The stateline goes through the FloraBama which is over a mile away(about 6500' to the east end of the bridge).
