Default No rain on my parade!

They say if you don't go, you'll never know (or something close to that).... well I got off work a a reasonable time and decided to go give the beach a try since the tide was rising and the surf was a nice 2ft roll. I normally fish 4 rods, but today I was only able to fish 2 because of the nonstop action!! I caught around 20 whiting, 10 catfish, and one pompano. The pompano was 14" fork and the largest whiting was 16" overall. I was using fresh peeled shrimp on my normal 2 hook rig. I finally quit because my body started looking like an old man's unmentionables (shriveled up).... I wish I'd've stayed because most of my pompano come right before dark, but I could not take anymore...lol. I hope to get back out this week before the weekend rush.

Way to go man ! I'm hoping that the cooler weather rolling in this weekend doesn't mess it up. I plan on fishing Monday and probably Sunday.

Russ, let me know if you want to meet up one afternoon. I try to avoid the weekends like the plague, but will go any week day even if it's for 30 minutes!!

Good job, Dorado.
Figures, I fish Sunday and Monday then the fish start biting on Tuesday! At least they rewarded your suffering (in the weather).

It is fun when the fish cooperate! Can't wait to get back down there again.
