Default In Need Of Plan B

I'm vacationing in Sandestin and have tried to surf fish, but the grass is pretty bad and every toss of a lure just brings back a bunch of the stuff. My plan was to toss and catch ladyfish and use that as bait for a shark. Since the ladyfish option isn't working out, I would like to get some opinions on what bait I should use and where I can get it.

Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks.

There are other fishing options besides the surf...have you considered heading into the sound or bays? Unless you just have to catch a shark, it'd yield some better fishing right now. Tight lines!! YRM

Go to the docks or Sexton's and get a fresh bonita fillet or buy some mullet and have at it.
