Default Near Portafino Towers 6/17/13

Two of us fished from 9am till around 4 just pass the towers and caught more ladyfish than can be counted with an abacus, a few baby sharks, 2 of what I think were drum (anyone? ...I'll post a pic for identification), and 2 pompano (which we just got through eating)
Surf was choppy but had a fun day baking in the sun.

oh jeeez.

That's the first one I thought of, but from the pics I've seen (never caught any) it just didn't look quite right. I guess I know now...

Thanks!

Hey there Salt4lifer, great grab! That part of the beach is certainly overrun with ladies. Great job waiting em out and snaggin the good stuff! Thanks for reporting. I was out there for a couple hours last night, and I caught a few ladies, and a couple of hardtail (not enough to make a decent independent report). The green grass/slime coated my rigs and lines pretty quick, making my flouro not so inconspicuous. Tight lines! YRM
