Default Maybe a dumb question...

I read some of the reports about using fleas as bait. What do they look like and how do you get them? I am an out of towner so this is foreign to me. Thanks for the help!

the best way to put it is... They look like fleas, but alittle bigger... and I think there kinda white'ish.... You gotta get a flea scoop... and I think you just drag it back towards the beach from the waterline... I've never done it just my idea of it..

You scrape the shelf where the waves are breaking at the beachline with either a "flea Basket" or a minnow ney. The net is not as convient, but it will work. Just scoop as deep as you can. The sand fleas are white or grayish, and shaped sort of like an egg with a hard outer shell and an underside resembling something from the distant past. They don't bite or anything, so handling is not a problem. They are AWESOME as pompano bait.
