Default Late combo report 11/27 and 11/29 Navarre

Well I've been busy and this is a little late but there are still a few fish to be had from the surf.
Got up early Monday morning and had rods in the sand by 5:45. Not that I needed to. Bite was sloooooow. Nothing at all until 7:45. Then I had 2 rod benders but no hookups back to back. At this point having sat out in the cold wind for a couple of hours I started to think about packing it up. Decided to give it a few more minutes and had 2 pompano by 8:30. That was enough for me so headed back to the house.

Wed, thought we'd take the kids to the beach (aka i wanted to go fishing) so loaded up and got out by about 10. Windy and cool again. Nobody was happy, everyone wanted to go home. The whiting I caught right off the bat didn't excite anyone but we held out for an hour and a half before getting ready to pack up.
I thought I'd put one more out for fun and chucked that mother as far as I could. Within a minute of hitting the water that rod was jumping and we finally had something. The wife reeled in a small but feisty pompano and then had me reload all the rod to try a little longer (funny how that works). Gave it another half hour with nothing more to show.
Monday's 2 were both on shrimp at 36A. Wed came from 38A? on a clam flavored fish bite.

Thanks for the report. I'm finally going to get a long weekend again, and wouldn't you know it....the surf is supposed to be flat this weekend. Dang it ! My wife told me not to worry about it, she said that she had plenty of honey doos for me to occupy my time with. Lol

TY Diggety fir that report. I hit ( slapped) the pier and saw a nice flounder come over the rails, a few large blues and some bo bo's running the pier. All around 9:30 Tues morning. May hit the surf again Sat when we go for some sand time we be doin it down at Gulf Island Sea Shore area - east of main swimming area. And yes, the whiting have been consistent this week with some real studs being caught. Fish bites and live shrimp. ty again and stay salty
