Default JB Memorial Weekend (trip 2)

Went to Johnsons Beach again today about high tide. With it being high tide the green algae was terrible. It was almost as soon as our line touched the water it was covered up with the algae and we had to pick it off. Somehow we managed one hardtail. Then it got a little better and got another hardtail. Then for a minute or two I wasn't paying attention to my rod, I saw that it had gone slack and appeared to wash up with the grass on it. I reeled it up to see a nice 13 inch pompano on the other end. Right after that I got a catfish then ladyfish. Then the same thing happened but it was a nice whiting. Caught a few more hardtail and kept 3 of 5 for bait in the future.
