Default j beach skunking

water was almost flat. almost clear.

got there around 9:30.. fished 2 hours.

had 3 hits.. the last hit being the one that i was able to set.. thought it was a shark or a red.. ended up being the largest ladyfish i have ever caught. did not jump, just fought like a madman. had to revive it when i released it.

used fresh shrimp and clams.

fisherman next to me said all he caught all morning was ladies as well. guys on my left were catching just seaweed. surf fishing has been awful for me since last summer. not sure if i have been on a bad streak or what.
