Thumbs up Help New to area (please help)

Good afternoon, I'm new to this area and I love to fish on my free time. I tried Johnson beach (zero luck) and also Palafox Pier (zero luck, but looks like a great place to fish). I live off of blue angel parkway and I was wondering is there a good fishing spot near me that I could catch drum, sheepshead, reds, and flounder? Palafox Pier has a lot of pinfish have any had any luck there?

Welcome to pff.
More info and maybe we can help.
What are you fishing with tackle wise?
What bait are you using?
What kind of rod?.
And give us general location on Blue Angle.

Sounds like you are ready.
As you already know there is no sure thing in fishing.
Go by Gone Fishing on Lillian north of 98 and ask the lady that owns it if you can buy shrimp with an EBT card.
When she gets done laughing get her to give you some advise. She knows where they are catching fish.
Or just get a few dozen live shrimp and a popping cork flora carbon or mono leader then head a little more north on Lillian and park at the bridge.
Wade out till your about d.... deep cast around all the pillings.
and around the little island.
For sheepie this time of year you need a bridge or concrete structure to find them.
Best advice bring a scrapper and scrap the barnacles off the concrete.
Small hook fiddler crab or small piece of shrimp.
Good luck.
And tell us a little about yourself.
where your from. What you do
be leave it or not when your on here your fishing.
to get the big boys to show up you gotta bait um up.

and the secret pass word is..................

wait for it ...............

Matrix. Sssshhhhhhhh don't tell um I told you. If all else fails claim you can't catch anything on the Matrix shad you bought at the spring sale.

Then hold on tight you'll get a hit.

Welcome to fourm. It is a great group.
Good luck

PS fine tune your pff skills this post should be in the general discussion or inshore section. No big deal, but in the future just look before you leap.
