Default Ft. Morgan 10/26 thru 10/28

We hit the beach Thursday afternoon, Friday morning and Saturday afternoon. Bite was really good on the rising tide the 26th. We landed about 20 reds. A few were slots, but most were over. The falling tide on the 27th was almost as productive. Then cold and very windy conditions on the 28th produced a few fish that afternoon. Most were caught on cut Mullet.

It is still posted the same as it has been for a few years. I walk in a couple hours before sun up or stay a couple hours after sunset and haven't had any issues. I don't fish all night, but I still see people going in when I'm coming out and see people that have been there for hours when I go in at 5:00 a.m. We only access via the beach, we don't walk thru the fort.

Were you guys at the point behind the fort?

We are here thru next weekend and boys and I going to give it a shot before the cold front comes thru
We park in the lot next to boat ramp and walk around to the end didn’t know you were not supposed to be there after dark.

1 Son got a 40 inch blacktip shark in his kayak today on the gulf side! Plenty exciting but I was still at work and missed it.
