Default East of portifino towers 10/4

Got up bright and early and headed to the beach with fresh shrimp. Raked some fleas and got the lines in the water at about 630. This is what we got...........

Not even a nibble...hopefully soon though!!

Oh, you got the same T-shirt? I know what you guys mean. I have surf fishing pretty much down, but I have days whwere I couldn't catch my target if someone had money to pay me for each one. That's when I wade out even chest deep and get some kind of other fish for bait and cut it up and send it out for a Red to save the day. I bet it was slick as glass too! Sorry to hear that, better luck next time and maybe you'll limit out next time!

Wouldn't it be nice to have some habitat out there that would hold fish? The county has permits submitted to Army Corp and FDEP for a reef in that area that will be close to the beach and probably fishable from the shore. Check out www.visionunderwaterpensacola.com for more information. You need to write your county commissioners and let them know you support this project. They need to know that we need some habitat in these areas.
