Default Dead raccoon and no keepers

So went out for a few hours to wade fish in poquito bayou behind my house, a few hours go by and i retreat home as the afternoon storm passed today. Well when i came back i moved to another spot and after wading out for a few minutes i was coming back to re-bait and i noticed a dead raccoon floating in the water about ten feet away (i thought i smelled something). Ok bear with me as i ask a dumbass question, should i be worried about possibly being exposed to rabies? And should i report this to any authorities? Oh yea, only caught/ released three small white trout 8,10, and 12".

As long as the dead coon didn't bite ya, no worries...Now if you caught a shark w/ him he might get rabies!!! hahaha

Nothing to worry about other than the smell.
