Default Chicken Bone Bch

Got there about 11am and setup two poles w/ fresh shrimp. My 80 year old father comes out an hour later and sets up. About five minutes later he's on with a good puller. Not a pomp, but a nice 28" red. He was using what seemed like a 20 yr old diawa with 10 yr old line. The cheap blue stuff we used to get at KMart. The patience of an old man pays off... it took him about 20 min.

A few big sandfleas, conditions were good for waves, water a little murky. Left at 4pm with two more whiting.

You were able to witness the patience of a fisherman and the art of fishing it sounds like. Something alot ofpeople do not get the opportunity to be a part of. :usaflag

I hope to one day go fishing at 80 years old. That is something. Sounds like a great day with your dad. I am 40 and try to take my kids as often as I can. My grandfather floundered with a push pole and a jonboat along lighthouse beach for many many years before he passed at 86.Good report.:usaflag
