Default 10/12/2017 Redfish

Me and my little man went out to the avalon boat ramp right before the bridge to gulf breeze, we were out there for a few hours. About an hour of being there and catching pinfish on shrimp i decided to put a piece of cut mullet on his pole and throw it out there, i saw a big black shadow come up to his bait and eat it. He almost went into the water haha but he fought it with everything he had and finally had it beat so i went in the water and grabbed him and measured him to 25 in to the fork and he went into the cooler also managed to catch a couple crabs on the pole the biggest one snapped the tip of my rod so he was for sure coming home. We had a great day and it was a blast seeing him fight a fish that big and win at that.

Congrats little man and he will remember... I remember my first and I was about his age. Just after they put the newer bridge in in Destin; after the wooden one. Ha
