What do you expect the grass forecast to be at Perdido, GrouperKing?

Hit or miss really, but hopefully you'll get lucky and it will be weed free.

Was clear last year, guess it's a wait and see game. Looks like rain first half of the week. Will that affect it?

BTW, I'd like to thank you, GrouperKing, Chris V, and all the others on here for yalls help. I started surf fishing about 10 years ago in St. George Island but since I learned about this group last spring my two trips to Perdido and Dauphin Island last year were much better.

One thing that I've learned about fishing and weed trouble. ... a move of a couple of miles to the east or west can make a difference, equal to the difference of night and day . So don't be so quick to just give up if the spot that you are fishing is over run with weeds. It's worth the time and gas to just take a little drive down the road a couple of miles to take a look.

It can also change at a moments notice. I was on Navarre pier a few years ago and watched a mat of grass about a 1/2 mile wide ruin a pristine beach. It went from perfect to unfishable in about 10 minutes.
