Default Tide /bait preference?

Will be doing surf fishing in Gulf Shores area Nov- Feb
Still trying to learn what to do and why

Would appreciate your input on which tide to fish, incoming ...outgoing

I would enjoy catching Whiting, sand trout, flounder and would love to catch a red
Would cut bait work or best to use shrimp?

Many thanks for your time

Been doing good on the whiting. Fresh peeled shrimp and light tackle. Find a sand bar with a good rip running into a hole or depresstion

Thanks!!
In the absense of a good sandbar with a rip
Would Fishing the surf where waves are breaking be a good idea?

I plan to use your peeled shrimp suggestion , a sliding sinker with a 24" 12# flouro leader
Sound good?

Appreciate it 👍🏻

Yes. I would try to find a spot where the bank has a sharp deep edge by the shore line. Good luck catchumup
