Default Tackle bag for surf

I'm looking to get a new purpose built tackle bag / backpack for my surf fishing. I've been using an old tool bag that I picked up at a conference for free 15 years ago. It's tired, and Im tired of it. Zippers busted, won't close anymore, not enough room for my reels... I've been looking at the local (Memphis) walmarts, Dicks, Bass Pro's etc' and not really seeing anything that fits all my needs. Wondering what you guys might recommend, and if you think I will have better luck shopping at some stores in the Ft Morgan area for such.
My requirements are
Room for 2 Plano medium sized boxes.
Room for my two reels for storage when not on rods
Room for a few tools like pliers and cutters
Shoulder strap, or backpack configuration
Build in cooler for a six pack would be a huge bonus, not required.

I've been looking at the Wild River backpack but I'm concerned the top area will cave in w my reels above since it's not really sewn into place, just velcro.
Any thoughts or comments appreciated.

I guess it all depends on whether you park your butt or walk the beach as you fish. From the look of your needs, I'm guessing that you are a walker.

I'm a butt parker, haha. I use an Academy branded tackle bag that will hold 4 3600 trays and has three pockets. I also have a med sized cooler, 2 chairs and 4 rod spikes... So I built a PVC beach cart.

I'm some of both, walking and stationary. Just looking for something to make the walking, and the to and from the beach trip a little easier. So far, I've managed to keep my bag fairly minimal.

I bought a Penn Backpack. Its very similar to the one you have a link to. It works very well. I bought it for the same reason. I rarely ever use it. I throw a couple of random baits in my pocket and go.

Similar to this:

I bought one of these about 5 or 6 years ago. Works great for me. No cooler, but I can toss a couple beers in the top part along with all my leader material, 4 or 5 reels and still have room for a couple small spools of mono.
