Default Surf Lures Mid-Late June

Hey all! Iíll be down in Perdido Key at my mother in-laws condo in 2 weeks. Iíve surf fished there a few times and had decent luck. Iím used to catching smallmouth and largemouth in middle TN rivers/creeks with baitcasters. I have a 8í6Ē rod and spinning reel coming my way from Kastking for this trip more suited for saltwater so I wanted to see if anybody had recommendations for lures to use in the surf. Iím used to topwater and swim baits but am very unfamiliar with doing it in the ocean. I know shrimp/fleas is always an option...I just enjoy casting and retrieving.
Thanks for any help!

Hit up Chris at J&M Tackle in Orange Beach when you get here. He might see your post and chime in.

Default Have at least one Kastmaster and some diamond squids.

The Kastmaster catches Trout, Bluefish and Redfish real well plus, you can cast it a mile. The diamond squids cast a mile and are great for Bonito, ladyfish, Bluefish and Mackerel. In hot summer, fish early and late.

Don't wade with fish on a stringer, especially early and late.

Thanks! I’ll look into those suggestions as well as contacting Chris.
