Default Surf fishing Friday night sat morning?

Coming in town for my buddy's wedding and wanted to know if anyone wanted to fish for some blacktips from the shore on Friday night or Saturday morning?

Pensacola? I've been wanting to target sharks but I don't think I have the appropriate gear...

I would join if I wasn't leaving for home early Saturday morning... Haven't had much luck myself.

Good luck!

I'm probably too late... But Pensacola Beach is loaded with sargasm.

Perdido has been clear though.

Yep the Alge isn't too bad out here right now at PB. Caught a whiting cut him up and got him in the gulf right now. Waves are about 3 feet high

Did you have any luck?

I'm not sure if you're casting in the trough or yakking baits. I yakked a bait yesterday afternoon and it got a ton of sargassum on it and it was hell to pull back in after the breakaway came off because the grass pulled so hard toward shore

Nothing. I was missing my whiting several times from something and then the tide turned and I couldn't hold bottom with 3 ounces. I was casting baits. My buddy's wedding was on Navarre and I didn't see any weeds. Should have fished there last night but it looks shallower than Pensacola. Wish I had my hobie this weekend
