Default Are sandfleas seasonal?

Evening partygoers,
my first year doing quite a bit of hard fishing and also using sandfleas. I have been reading fishing reports and people commenting on no sandfleas being found.
Any 411 (information) is appreciated.

I dont saltwater fish year round, so I dont know for sure. I do know that I never seem to see any in April/Early May when I start for the year. But by June/July they are everywhere.

Don't know about other times but I do catch them in April and May, at least enough to fish with, sometimes quite a bit more.

They're kind of seasonal. Easier to get when it's warmer and they kind of hibernate/die off when it's cold. Can be found in winter months but mostly up in the bay beaches and whatnot.

they have been far apart and few between lately. Same thing with the fish that like to eat them.
