Default Pompano surf fiahing

In perdido key for a week. The surf is high and is windy. How will that effect my fishing for pompano?

You'll need 5 & 6 oz weights to hold bottom tomorrow (depending on the lb line you are fishing) .... surf & current should back off some after that ... today was a real chore to fish.
