Perdido was pretty bad this morning. The first trough and near shore was really bad and it got better further out.

there were some holes today that were fishable but the majority of what I saw was grassy. It accumulated on my lines pretty quick, had to reel in and clean up every 10 minutes or so. Managed 2 lady fish and 2 sharks before I gave in, not worth the hassle....summer time fishing. I fish braided line, I wonder if mono would stay cleaner? I try to use the smallest swivels and terminal tackle to avoid places for the grass to grab on. I was just on the beach side in front of peg legs.

I've found that braid is easier to clean off. You get just as much on mono. Just walk the beach and look for cleaner spots. I found a pristine little spot, not 50 yards from another that resembled thick pea soup.

Of course that's a moot point right now.
