Default Navarre or Portifino?

Can anybody recommend a good spot to start pompano fishing in Navarre or Portifino area. I have the kid all day tomorrow and I am tired of looking at Johnson beach. Figure I can start at day break and work my way west to Ft. Pickens then home. I have been looking ay Google map but an not certain where I can park and walk to the beach. Any advise would be appreciated so I can have a game plan before making the drive.

From Portifino all the way to Navarre there are lots of parking lots right on the gulf. You can also just pull off on the side of the road and park.
