Default Navarre Beach Fishing Question

I'm going with the family to Navarre beach in July. Got a zodiac to go out a bit. Can anybody tell me what my best bet is as far as target species and techniques?
Thanks in advance for the help.

Your most consistent action would be trolling for kings. You might also pick up bonita, spanish, or even a mahi mahi. You need steel leader with a stinger rig (nose hook, either single or treble and a second treble 3-4" behind). You can use a duster on the rig to give it some flash. Troll frozen cigar minnows on the stinger rig at about 2-5 MPH.

How much line do you throw out while trolling?

johnf,

Im not an expert but when I have been trolling on kayak it depends on how many rods I have in the water. If I have a single one I just open the bail and start trolling for about 15 seconds before I close the bail. If I have two Ill keep one closer to the kayak and one further out. It helps to prevent the lines from getting tangled and you are able to cover a bigger area.
