Default First of June Fishing

Hi Guys (and Gals)! I will be coming to Orange Beach next weekend and staying until Tuesday of the next week. I will be bringing my young niece (10) and am really hoping to get some fishing done with her as I have been getting her involved in fishing as of late here in the lakes around home. What is the best technique I could use and or place to go where she and I could catch plenty of fish? Type doesn't really matter all that much, although i would like to catch something we could eat. I have traditionally in the past came down and did the tourist thing and bought shrimp and squid and just fished for pan fish or anything else that would bite from either the pier or from just around the banks where I thought i wouldnt get in trouble for fishing. Any advice would be appreciated.
