Default Docs Goofy Jigs

Hey all, I'm headed to Ft Morgan area next Thursday. Is it possible to pick up the Docs Goofy Jigs in that area? All the distributors I'm finding online are in FL...and I don't think I can get shipment in before I leave for the coast. Looking for local Ft Morgan area availability.
Thanks for any tips here.

I've found them in just about every tackle shop that I have ever been into around the coast. I've also had good luck with a copy for the Doc's made by buccaneer. They are about 1/4 the price and are in Walmart. They come on a black card, e3 to a pack for about $3-4.

They do not have the teaser, but I just buy a pack of tiny split rings for less than a $1 and add teasers that I tie up like fly fishing flies...

Yup. #2 split rings and bait shops have some buck tail and flash of various colors.

For tying a simple buck tail jig, search Youtube "Tying bucktail jigs" on Youtube on the computer.

Also, you can learn the whole deal in 3 minute lessons from Andy Match (Fly Tying 101) or several other guys. You will see that you can do a lot by hand, but the fly tying tools and supplies are interesting to learn about.

But be VERY careful, you might get into tying flies in the winter, drinking beer, and divorce. It's fun.

Haha, yep!

I got into flyfishing, then fly tying. I was MUCH better at tying than I was flyfishing. So I ended up with ALOT of flies. haha

I sold all of my saltwater stuff a couple of years ago, but I kept a cheap vise, a bobbin and some saltwater materials for tying pompano teasers and mackerel skirts.

ok guys, I think I know where / what I need now. I'm going to try tying some myself, and buy a few as examples. Finishing up my gear packing tonight with my buddies that are going to Ft Morgan w/ me. Going to tie up a few more shark rigs and some double/triple drop rigs so we're not standing in the surf wasting time w/ such. Hoping to get into some Pomp's this year fishing close inside the first bar. I've been ignoring that area far too long...thinking I needed to get out past it. Appreciate all the tips!
