Default Do you catch pomps year round?

Can you catch pomp year round in the surf? how often do the bonitas get close ebough to catch off the surf?

during the summer months the pomps are juvy's.. best time for them is spring and fall..

bonito's were being caught during the winter off the pier...

I've caught them every month of the year but water temps can vary year-to-year so there can be extreme slow periods in the winter. Optimal water temps are 66-76 with 62 being a lower limit and 80 being high.
