Default Blue fish head for surf fishing for sharks

I caught a few blue fish and saved a head. I'm leaving tomorrow and was wondering if a whole blue fish head was ok for shark fishing off the beach? I don't have a kayak so will be walking bait out if I can't talk someone with one to paddle it out for me
Thanks

I highly recommend using a whole Bluefish, fresh caught is best.
Live is even better, just trim their tail fin back.
Great bait.

Yep, live bluefish is a great shark bait. Blues are great grouper/snapper bait too.
