Default What a Redical Night!

Couple days late on this post. My girlfriend and I decided last minute to head out on Wednesday night and brave the chilly air. After a short drive from our dock on Bayou Texar we arrived at 3 Mile Bridge. Anchored up, shook up some Hot Hands, and started fishing, or catching actually. Started off catching some trout for bait on the small rod with the 12lb test. After the second drop into the water my girlfriends pole starts screaming off line! Immediately followed by her screaming! Small girl+small rod=great fun to watch. After about 15min fighting this brute of a fish it finally bent her hook and off he went. From then on it was one red after another. Needless to say we were both worn out by the time we returned home to the dock. Final tally was 6 reds, 1 blue fish, and 2 ribbon fish. Only kept the ribbon, for king trolling later in the week.

Janelle fighting the big one that got away!
